Colorado Springs, Colorado(AP)-- The USA Men's Basketball National Team for the 2004 Olympics will have an unexpected new

member. The USA Basketball announced today that 38-year-old Ju Bi-Sheng, a reporter fromTaiwan, will be named as the official

team reporter.

According to Jim Tooley, Executive Director of the USA Basketball, the appointment of Ju Bi-Sheng is "simply to increase our

opportunity to win the gold medal, and nothing else." Tooley did not give further explanations about reasons of the

appointment.

a huge margin of 33 points. I guess I can understand why Bi-Sheng is named as the official team reporter." Granik said.

forseen the knee injury happened to Karl(Malone)." Karl Malone sprained his right knee during the first quarter in the game

against the Phoenix Suns.
