张德培1989年夺得法网大满贯时的年龄（17岁）是所有夺得大满贯赛事的球员中最小的一个

他在2002年退役，最好成绩排到过世界第二

他在三月份开始训练国家队球员彭帅的时候，开始对训练中国球员感兴趣起来

他计划在深圳办一个网球学校，携手深圳观澜湖乡村俱乐部，成立了全球首家张德培网球学校。
Chang planned to open his academy in Shenzhen's Mission Hills Country Club where there are 51 tennis courts.

Hanging up his rackets in 2002, Chang has shown interest in coaching Chinese tennis players in March as he started coaching Peng Shuai, one of the country's tennis hopes in next year's Beijing Olympics.

Once ranked number two in the world, Chang won the French Open in 1989 at age 17. He is very popular in China, where he is better known by his Mandarin name Zhang Depei.
